GEELY EX5 RESERVATION SCHEME

Terms and Conditions

 

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the Geely EX5 Reservation Scheme which is described in more detail in paragraph 1.3 below ("Scheme").

 

The operator of the Scheme is Geely Auto UK, a trading division of LEVC MTech Limited of Li Close, Ansty Park, Ansty, Coventry, England, CV7 9RF ("Geely", "we", "our", "us"). Our registered company number is 08364891.

 

Please read these Terms carefully because they will form the basis of a legally binding contract between you and Geely in connection with the Reservation (as defined below). By submitting your Reservation and paying the Reservation Fee, you are confirming that you accept and agree to these Terms, our Website Terms of Use (available at www.geelyauto.co.uk/terms-and-conditions), and our Privacy Notice (available at www.geelyauto.co.uk/privacy-policy). If you do not accept these Terms, you should not submit your Reservation or pay the Reservation Fee.

 

The Scheme is subject to availability, and we may close the Scheme to new applicants for any reason at any time. We will endeavour to provide notice on the Geely website (www.geelyauto.co.uk) ("Website") before closing access to the Scheme.

 

1. Scheme and eligibility

 

1.1 The Scheme is only available to individuals that are:

 

1.1.1 a UK resident and aged 18 or over; and

 

1.1.2 a retail customer purchasing a Vehicle for personal use (this excludes business and fleet customers); and

 

1.1.3 the holder of a valid UK driving licence,

 

(eligible individuals collectively referred to throughout these Terms as a "Customer", "you", or "your").

 

1.2 The Scheme applies only to new Geely EX5 Pro and Geely EX5 Max models, either from dealer stock or factory order (i.e. vehicles manufactured to order) ("Vehicle"). The Scheme does not apply to used or pre-owned vehicles or ex-demonstration vehicles.

 

1.3 The Scheme allows eligible Customers to pay a fully refundable £99 reservation fee to register their interest in purchasing a Vehicle from a participating Geely dealership by 23:59 on 23 October 2025. By making a Reservation (as defined below), eligible Customers may become eligible (subject to the conditions set out in these Terms and only where the Customer subsequently places an order for a Vehicle from a participating Geely dealership by 31 December 2025 and takes delivery thereafter) to receive certain Benefits (as defined below), which may include either a complimentary home charger or charging credit and invitations to Geely events.

 

1.4 Please note: Reservation under this Scheme is intended to indicate interest in ordering and purchasing a Vehicle, give Customers access to potential incentives under the Scheme, and connect Customers with participating Geely dealerships to begin their Vehicle order and purchase journey. Reservation does not guarantee the availability or allocation of a specific Vehicle. All Vehicle availability is subject to stock and dealer discretion.

 

2. Your reservation

 

2.1 Customers must register their reservation for the Vehicle no later than 23:59 on 23 October 2025 ("Reservation") by:

 

2.1.1 scanning the designated QR code or visiting geelyauto.co.uk/geely-ex5-reservation and submitting the required information; and

 

2.1.2 making a fully refundable payment of £99 ("Reservation Fee") as described in more detail at paragraph 3.1 below.

 

2.2 Once you have completed the Reservation (in accordance with these Terms), Strive will send confirmation to the email you provided as part of your Reservation and you will be connected with a participating member of our dealer network ("Geely Dealer"). A Geely Dealer will contact you to discuss next steps, including how to place an order and purchase the Vehicle (which will be subject to separate purchase terms and conditions agreed directly with the Geely Dealer).

 

2.3 For the avoidance of doubt, your Reservation and payment of the Reservation Fee does not:

 

2.3.1 reserve, pre-order, guarantee, or prioritise any allocation of, a Vehicle for you;

 

2.3.2 create a contract (or an offer capable of acceptance) for sale or finance of a Vehicle; or

 

2.3.3 place any binding obligation on Geely or the Geely Dealer to supply a Vehicle to you.

 

2.4 Your Reservation is intended to express your interest in ordering or purchasing a Vehicle, access potential promotional incentives, and connect you with a Geely Dealer to begin the purchase journey. Any Reservation Fee paid by you as part of the Reservation is fully refundable and any Vehicle purchase will be subject to a separate contract entered into between you and the Geely Dealer.

 

2.5 Your Reservation is personal to you and is non-transferable. The Customer that made the Reservation must be the individual who places an order for the Vehicle, enters into the purchase agreement with the Geely Dealer, and ultimately takes ownership of the Vehicle for personal use.

 

2.6 Any marketing materials (including but not limited to those which indicate Vehicle price, specification, options, features, or performance) are indicative only and are subject to change before a purchase agreement is agreed.

 

3. Reservation Fee

 

3.1 Geely shall use Strive Group Limited ("Strive") to help manage and administer parts of the Scheme on its behalf. Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") will be the payment service provider to process Reservation Fee payments.

 

3.2 You can pay your Reservation Fee using any payment method accepted by Stripe. As part of your Reservation, you will be directed to a website to complete your Reservation Fee. Please follow the on-screen instructions provided in order to make your Reservation Fee. Payment of the Reservation Fee does not commit you to order or purchase the Vehicle.

 

3.3 By entering your payment information and making payment of the Reservation Fee, you agree to use of that information by Stripe for the purpose of paying the amount due and processing your payment.

 

3.4 It is your responsibility to ensure that the payment details you use are correct and complete. Unless there is any negligence on Geely's part, any failure by Geely to comply with these Terms or its Privacy Notice (available at www.geelyauto.co.uk/privacy-policy), or a breach by Geely of its duties under applicable laws, Geely will not be legally responsible to you for any loss that you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any information that you give Geely, Strive, or Stripe in connection with the payment of your Reservation Fee.

 

3.5 Your Reservation Fee will be refunded regardless of your decision to purchase a Vehicle and, as such, the Reservation Fee is not deducted from any payment made to a Geely Dealer. The Reservation Fee will be held separately and will not be applied towards the total price of the Vehicle, nor will it accrue any interest.

 

4. Refund of Reservation Fee

 

4.1 The Reservation Fee will be refunded to you in full, regardless of whether you proceed to order a Vehicle:

 

4.1.1 (if you go on to order a Vehicle by 31 December 2025) automatically after Geely has received confirmation from the relevant Geely Dealer that you have completed the Vehicle purchase; or

 

4.1.2 (if you do not order a Vehicle by 31 December 2025) automatically after that date;

 

4.1.3 (if you request a refund of the Reservation Fee at any time in writing) by emailing Strive at geely@strive-group.com with the reservation information from your Reservation confirmation email and requesting the refund.

 

4.2 All refunds will be made to the original payment card used to make the Reservation Fee. Geely will aim to ensure the refund process is completed promptly and no later than 30 business days of the applicable trigger event set out in paragraph 4.1 above.

 

5. Reservation benefits

 

5.1 Subject to the conditions set out in these Terms, a Customer may be eligible for the following benefits ("Benefits"):

 

5.1.1 either:

 

(a) a complimentary Andersen Geely A3 Bespoke Home Charger (7.4kW, 32 amp, single-phase) (with standard installation) ("Home Charger"); or

 

(b) a £1,000 electric vehicle charging credit voucher for use with Geely's third-party provider ("Charge Credit"); and

 

5.1.2 an invitation to an exclusive Geely pre-launch drive event (either in Bicester or another UK location) ("Pre-Launch Drive Event").

 

5.2 To receive any of the Benefits listed above, the Customer must:

 

5.2.1 have submitted a valid Reservation by 23:59 on 23 October 2025;

 

5.2.2 go on to order a Vehicle from a Geely Dealer by no later than 31 December 2025;

 

5.2.3 take delivery of the Vehicle; and

 

5.2.4 (in respect of the Home Charger and Charge Credit) wait a minimum of 14 days after handover of the Vehicle.

 

5.3 A Customer does not need to take any action at the time of ordering the Vehicle to claim the Benefits.

 

5.4 In respect of the Pre-Launch Drive Event, the event date and location are subject to change and are subject to availability. The Customer's attendance is optional and at their own cost (i.e. for travel/accommodation). Geely reserves the right to alter or cancel the Pre-Launch Drive Event without liability.

 

5.5 The Benefits have no cash alternative and are non-transferable.

 

6. Home Charger Benefit

 

6.1 To receive the Home Charger, a Customer must be:

 

6.1.1 the owner of the residential property where the Home Charger will be installed; or

 

6.1.2 a renter with their landlord's permission to install the Home Charger,

 

and, in either case, must have suitable off-street parking at the property where the Home Charger will be installed.

 

6.2 The availability of standard installation of the Home Charger depends on various factors (such as property wiring and proximity to electricity meters) and is subject to a property survey conducted by Andersen EV Ltd ("Andersen"). The Customer must liaise directly with Andersen in connection with any survey and installation.

 

6.3 The Customer acknowledges and agrees that, where standard installation is not possible (as reasonably determined by Andersen), any additional installation costs shall be payable by the Customer directly to Andersen. Any costs (for example, late cancellation fees, aborted visits, additional accessories, or upgrades) shall be payable by the Customer.

 

6.4 If Andersen determines that standard installation is not possible at the Customer's property, or the Customer chooses not to proceed with a non-standard installation, the Customer may instead opt to receive the Charge Credit Benefit as an alternative.

 

6.5 Andersen's standard terms of sale (available at https://www.andersen-ev.com/pages/terms-of-sale) and terms of service (available at https://www.andersen-ev.com/pages/terms-of-service) shall apply in relation to all Home Chargers supplied under the Scheme. Customers should review these carefully before proceeding.

 

6.6 The Customer acknowledges that Geely is not the manufacturer, supplier, or installer of the Home Charger and has no control over its performance, availability, delivery, or installation. Geely accepts no responsibility or liability for any issues arising in connection with the Home Charger or its installation. All product-related issues in respect of the Home Charger should be directed to Andersen.

 

7. Charge Credit Benefit

 

7.1 The Charge Credit will be provided to eligible Customers in the form of a digital voucher or redemption code issued by Geely's third-party partner, Octopus Electroverse Limited ("Octopus").

 

7.2 The Charge Credit must be redeemed within 6 months of the Vehicle handover date to the Customer. If not redeemed within this period, the Charge Credit may expire.

 

7.3 Octopus' standard terms and conditions (available at https://electroverse.com/legal/terms ) shall apply in relation to Charge Credit redemption under this Scheme. Customers should review these carefully before proceeding.

 

8. Personal data

 

8.1 Please refer to Geely's Privacy Notice (available at www.geelyauto.co.uk/privacy-policy) for information about how Geely will use personal information that is provided by you or otherwise derived in connection with the Scheme and how it will be shared.

 

9. Our liability to you

 

9.1 Geely will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature, howsoever caused, sustained in any way by any participant in this Scheme unless the loss is:

 

9.1.1 Unexpected. If we fail to comply with the Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract, or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the Reservation.

 

9.1.2 Caused by a delaying event outside our control. If Geely are prevented or delayed from complying with its obligations under these Terms by anything the Customer (or anyone acting on the Customer's behalf) does or fails to do, or as a result of events or circumstances beyond Geely's reasonable control, Geely's inability or delay in performing its obligations will not be deemed to be in breach of contract provided it notifies you of any significant delays.

 

9.1.3 Avoidable. Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action.

 

9.1.4 Business loss. Geely will have no liability to the Customer for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity sustained in any way by any participant in this Scheme.

 

9.2 However, nothing in these Terms shall have the effect of excluding or restricting liability for (a) personal injury or death caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and (c) for breach of your legal rights in relation to the Scheme.

 

10. Changes to these Terms and the Scheme

 

10.1 We may occasionally update these Terms or make changes to the Scheme, for example to comply with changes in the law and regulatory requirements or to reflect changes to the Benefits or how the Scheme is administered. You should read the latest version of the Terms on our Website before you submit your Reservation to ensure you are happy with the current Terms.

 

11. General

 

11.1 If we are prevented or delayed from complying with our obligations under these Terms by anything you (or anyone acting on your behalf) does or fails to do, or as a result of events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, our inability or delay in performing our obligations to you will not be deemed to be in breach of contract.

 

11.2 We may transfer our rights and obligations under the Terms to another organisation.

 

11.3 Each of the sections of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining sections will remain in full force and effect.

 

11.4 If the Customer breaches these Terms and Geely chooses to ignore the breach, or if Geely delay in taking steps against the Customer, Geely will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where the Customer breach the Terms again.

 

11.5 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and Geely and the Customer can bring legal proceedings in the English courts. Nothing in this section shall deprive the Customer of the right to bring or defend proceedings in their home state nor of the protection afforded to the Customer by the mandatory rules of law of the country in which the Customer lives. For example, if the Customer lives in Scotland, the Customer can bring legal proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts.

 

11.6 In the event of a complaint or dispute of any kind, please contact Geely by using the details set out in paragraph 12 below or on our Website.

 

11.7 Where you have contacted Geely, but Geely has been unable to resolve your complaint or dispute, you may refer the complaint or dispute to The Motor Ombudsman. For details of this service, you can visit their website at https://www.themotorombudsman.org.
