Prize Draw Terms & Conditions – Win a trip to China
1) THE PROMOTER
The promoter is Geely Auto UK Limited of Li Close, Ansty Park, Ansty, Coventry, CV7 9RF (the “Promoter”).
2) THE PRIZE DRAW
a) The title of the prize draw is “Trip to China” (the “Prize Draw”).
b) The Prize Draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged between 18 years of age and 70 years of age, excluding employees of the Promoter, their
immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw.
3) HOW TO ENTER
a) The Prize Draw will run from 00:01 hours on 1 October 2026 to 23:59 hours on 30 November 2026 (the “Prize Draw Period”).
b) All Prize Draw entries must be submitted during the Prize Draw Period. Any Prize Draw entries submitted after the Prize Draw Period has ended will be automatically disqualified.
c) To enter the Competition, entrants must:
i. order, register and take delivery of a new Geely EX2, Geely EX5, or Geely Starray EM-i (a “Qualifying Vehicle”) from a dealer authorised by the Promoter (a “Dealer”)
during the Prize Draw Period;
ii. complete a Registration Form and provide personal information which will be used for the administration of the Prize Draw and delivery of the prize (the “Registration Form”) and will
be handled in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy which is available here;
iii. participate in reasonable marketing and publicity activity relating to the Prize Draw, including having their photograph taken with a representative of the Dealer from whom they purchase
the Qualifying Vehicle. Such photographs will be shared with the Promoter and may be used by the Promoter, participating Dealers and their appointed marketing, public relations and
media partners for promotional, advertising and communication purposes, including on websites, social media channels, press releases and other marketing materials. Participation in this
publicity activity is a condition of entry into the Prize Draw.
d) Entry into the Prize Draw is available only to private retail customers who complete all of the steps identified in Condition 3c) i – iii before the end of the Prize Draw Period.
No free entry route is available.
e) There is a maximum of one entry into the Prize Draw per person, and a maximum of one prize per person.
f) By consenting to be entered into the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so, are eligible to claim the prize, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
g) Incomplete or illegible entries, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full, or which (in the opinion of the Promoter) are not consistent with the spirit of the
Prize Draw, will be disqualified and will not be counted.
h) The Promoter will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not successfully submitted due to technical or other problems.
i) An entrant may withdraw from the Prize Draw at any time.
4) THE PRIZE
a) Twenty (20) winners will each win two (2) tickets (i.e. one (1) ticket for them and one (1) ticket for a guest) to attend a five (5) day trip to China taking place in April 2027. b) Each prize consists of:
i. two (2) return flights from London Heathrow to China, including all taxes, fees, and one item of checked luggage per person;
ii. reasonable costs associated with obtaining a Chinese tourist Visa (if applicable);
iii. accommodation in China; and
iv. reasonable subsistence which, where possible will accommodate known dietary requirements.
c) Unless expressly stated otherwise, the prize excludes:
i. spending money and other personal expenses;
ii. any costs associated with transfers or travel to and/or parking at or near London Heathrow;
iii. accommodation costs in the UK;
iv. travel insurance;
v. vaccinations or other medical requirements.
d) The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered, except where the Promoter determines otherwise in exceptional circumstances.
e) If for any reason any aspect of this Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned, including any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the
administration, integrity or proper conduct of this Prize Draw, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the Prize Draw or invalidate any affected entries.
f) The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control makes it necessary to do so.
g) Both the winner and their guest must be aged between 18 and 70 at the time of the trip to China.
5) WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a) Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Prize Draw using a computer-generated random draw that will take place via a live-stream on social media on
Friday 4th December 2026, during which winners will be announced live.
b) The winners of the Prize Draw will be contacted by 5pm on Friday 11th December 2026 using the information provided on the Registration Form.
c) A winner of the Prize Draw must respond within 72 hours of being contacted. If a winner does not respond within this 72-hour period, is unable to accept the prize, or is found to be ineligible,
the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner who has also been selected at random. The winner selection process will repeat until twenty (20) eligible winners
have claimed a prize.
d) The prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of an entrant.
e) The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
6) TICKET CONDITIONS
a) Use of the prize is subject to any conditions and regulations imposed by relevant third parties (e.g. airlines and hotels).This may require a winner and their guest to provide contact
details to the Promoter to share with relevant third parties to claim and use the prize.
b) The winners and their guests may be required to comply with any applicable age restrictions, identification requirements or other entry conditions imposed by relevant third parties
(e.g. China, airlines and hotels).
c) The prize must not be sold, advertised for sale, transferred for commercial gain or used in connection with another promotion.
7) FLIGHT CHANGES
Flights may be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled for reasons outside the Promoter's control. The Promoter will not be responsible for any such changes or for any costs incurred by the
winner or their guests as a result.
8) PUBLICITY AND WINNER INFORMATION
As a condition of participation in the Prize Draw and acceptance of the prize, winners shall be required to participate in reasonable publicity and promotional activities, including photography,
filming, and interviews. The Promoter, Dealers and their appointed marketing, public relations and media partners may use such materials in connection with the Prize Draw and related
promotional activities.
9) PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information supplied in connection with the Prize Draw will be used by the Promoter to administer the Prize Draw, verify eligibility, contact entrants, select and verify winners, arrange
and administer the prize and maintain records relating to the operation of the Prize Draw. Winner and guest information will be shared with third-party providers involved in arranging and
delivering the prize, including travel providers, accommodation providers and organisations involved in the administration of the trip. Personal information will be processed in accordance
with the Promoter's Privacy Policy available here.
10) SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by any social media platform or associated with Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.
11) GENERAL
a) The Promoter will make available the winner’s surname and county of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within three (3) months of the closing
date of the Prize Draw. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting gdpr@geelyauto.co.uk. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the
information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the list of winners by emailing gdpr@geelyauto.co.uk. The Promoter reserves the right to
refuse such requests.
b) The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent). The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify
entries, refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Prize Draw and disqualify the entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe
there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the Prize Draw, any instructions forming part of this Prize Draw’s entry requirements or otherwise where an entrant has
gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.
c) It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the Prize Draw, when completing the Registration Form, and on prize acceptance. The Promoter
cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects their eligibility to win the prize or the ability of the Promoter to successfully make contact.
d) If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions
(including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion,
epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations but will always
endeavour to minimise the effect to entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
e) The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or
damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Prize Draw, the fulfilment of the prizes and/or the use of the prizes, except
for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
f) If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses
shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
g) The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter's decision regarding the administration of the Prize Draw is final, subject to applicable law.
h) The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Prize Draw where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.
i) The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, if it has any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.
13) GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and entrants will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
